Are you curious about sexual and romantic relationships that are beyond the “norm”? So are we!

Whether you’ve thought about trying something non-monogamous yourself or are just curious about how other people make less-traditional relationships work, this is the event for you.

To lead the discussion, we’re welcoming an NP Psychiatrist and Clinical Professor (who has requested to stay anonymous) to talk about her experience supporting patients as they explore their sexuality and relationship paths that adhere to less traditional structures.

This will be yet another Parlay House conversation where we can get real about topics that are meaningful but often are hidden or ignored.

***A NOTE FROM OUR SPEAKER***

I’m a successful professional woman in my 40s, married with two kids, living in San Francisco. I’ve been together with my wife for 22 years. The first 18 years, we were monogamous by default, but in the summer of 2020, when the whole world was upended by the pandemic, my wife and I upended our private world by opening up our marriage. Over the past four years, she and I have learned the ropes of ethical non-monogamy (ENM) and found to our surprise that polyamory worked well for us. It is forever a work-in-progress, but also a choice we wouldn’t change for the world. 

During our evening together, I will share my personal journey from monogamy to polyamory, discuss how it has impacted my social and professional life, answer questions from the group, pass along resources, and convey lessons learned. I’m happy to offer advice to any curious and adventurous folk who are considering or exploring ENM. This is an LGBTQIA+ friendly talk.
